Appearance[]
Tozu is a young man with short gray hair and blue eyes. He wears glasses with black frames. In manga his apperance is very different with a mustache see Gallery.

Basic Training: Like all JSDF personnel, Tozu has undergone basic physical and combat training, is in good physical condition and a competent marksman.
Etymology[]
- The name Daisuke means "big, great" (大) (dai) and "help" (輔) (suke).
- Daisuke's surname Tozu means "door" (戸) (to) and "haven, port, harbor, ferry" (津) (tsu/zu).
