hello dear wiki users. i am Optimus Princeps, today i request your theories about the origin of human civilization on the other side of the GATE. just to see the opinions of the community on why the existence of the main enemies of the series.
With that said, the information on the events of the canon will be analyzed as a basis as well as the equipment, customs, weapons, policies and the forms of government of the special region to draw a conclusion.

New Favicon
New Favicon or the icon that appears in your brower
The wiki has never created an icon since its inception three years, so I took it upon myself to create one. It uses the most signature item that one can always recognize from Gate: Rory's axe. I am not sure how it currently looks, as this icon was done by hand. If anyone has any suggestions for a more distinct or can create a good icon for the wiki, please feel free to message me or comment down below.
If Gate Season 3
If they decided to come out with a Gate Season 3 in 2018 what do you think it would be based of and what do you think would happen in it, is there anything special you'd want in a season 3 of gate?

I recently joined this Wiki, and fandom for that sake, I have been on fandom for a while, but never actually joined, I've seen quite a lot of error in some of the Main Character profile's and such, I guess I will be helping out quite a bit, I was just wondering if this Wiki has gone completely inactive?
Shortcut to get on Categories
You can now go the arrow right of Community and highlight a lisit, go down list to Special:Categories, click on it, and you will be in Categories the closest thing to an index on any Wikia.
Picture Titles
All Photos should have a proper title, not a screenshot number or random name; non-appropriate names will be edited and/or result in the image being completely removed.
Please just take 10 seconds to rename any image before uploading it!

Second Season for the Light Novels Announced!
Hi, It seems that there is going to be a second season for the GATE light novels. though its shifting its focus away from the JSDF cast that we all know and love. as they are instead going to introduce a new cast and group of main characters.
I don't believe any of the original cast will be making an appearance in the new season, as the article seems to indicate this will take place in yet another new world.

Photos are a real pain in Classic if other files are high in usage. Well live with it, and you can complain on the above link just create a user page like you did with your other Wikis at Comunity Central.

How to make characters alphabetical by last name.
The DEFAULTSORT function is used to do this take say Yoshi Itami, edit his character box thus on a balank line or even one with something add two "{" "DEFAULTSORT:Itami" two "}" and it will appear in lists in alphabetical order by last name.
To do this or not is a Community decision. Also you can have lists with just the title to make finding thins much faster.

"In any case, glad that this anime is over. Despite having a bit of controversy, GATE was a fun series to watch especially in the second half where things are starting to get interesting! While I want another season of GATE, seems that it won’t happen at all given the author’s right-wing stance.
"With that said, it was a great show and I’ll miss Lt. Itami and the gang!"
I've liked the series so far, a shame politics rears its unfriendly head if this is true :( It's and old peace any one got anything newer?
